Thank you for spreading the light. I am interested in home alters and found you through that search. do you know a source for small home alters like the beautiful ones you had listed at one point? thanks, david
David I wish I could help but I do not have any suggestions at this time Later in the year I hope to get back into making some altars. blessings ,David
I, too, would like to buy an altar like your open-shelf altars. Please, if you do build them again, let me know, would you?

Hello Dave, We met on Twitter and although I’m no longer participating (deactivated accounts) I have shared your Blog with friends on my FB Page to give them a better understanding of what I’ve gone through re: my NDE.
I requested your assistance as a Mentor…
Hoping to keep in contact with you via e-mail as we had discussed.
Love and Light,
Hi Dave:
I am interested in having a buddhist altar made by you.
I noticed that all of the altars you have made have been sold.
Are you open to making a custom altar for my meditation practice?
I would like something simple in a maple or light wood …with measurements around 24″ in length by 18″ in depth.
Let me know if are open to it…with a cost estimate.
Thanks for all the Requests for Altars. I’m currently focusing my attention on my writing and time in the shop is limited to home improvement projects I may return to building altars at some time in the future but I must clear some of these projects away first.
Thanks so much for all the interest,
Blessings,
Dave
As a person who myself had an NDE, I too am for some reason following a path toward some sort of sharing of my thoughts and experiences. It isn’t an easy path to follow. I commend you on your efforts. On my own site – http://www.behighlyevolved, one of my next few attempts will be to write of the NDE. It’s now been over 16 years since. After such a long period of time I hope that I can make a worthy attempt.
David, I have enjoyed following your tweets and I now find your thoughtful and evocative blog. I’ll be happily following your work here too.
Thomas, Thanks so much. I found your blog and found it fascinating. I’m now following you.
