170124-acceptance-of-oneselfOur uniqueness, our individuality, and our life experience molds us into fascinating beings. I hope we can embrace that. I pray we may all challenge ourselves to delve into the deepest resources of our hearts to cultivate an atmosphere of understanding, acceptance, tolerance, and compassion. We are all in this life together.   –Linda Thompson

Our unawareness keeps us believing we are separate individuals. Each of us is independently forging a life with so many other individuals. Am I my job, my family, or a conglomerate of all those personas, which can be put on and taken off as needed? At times we feel like a pillar in the middle of a hurricane, with humanity’s madness swirling around us. It is then that we are quietly reminded: “Be the Pillar.”

To be the pillar requires a shift, a change in focus, a review of sorts. Try to examine from a greater perspective. Looking for the wonder, the miracle unfolding. It may not be easy, but being the pillar sometimes reveals the clues to finding a direction or future path of empowerment that reflects our true nature. No matter what our life experiences are, or how we feel about ourselves, we are all divine with amazing gifts and abilities to share with the universe. We share the responsibilities of sculpting our personalities into loving Light. In the Light we are all the Elk, attentive sentries outlasting time.

Accept yourself to yourself. Acceptance of the past can free us from it. As you come to understand your imperfection, you learn to accept it with the intention of improving yourself. Know this is where we are at this moment and we can step out in the Light of Divine Love where there is no imperfection, there is only simplicity in Being. The freeing quality of acceptance allows us to soar as our True Being.

It can be difficult when seeing yourself clearly for the first time, so be gentle with yourself. Know that your true nature cannot be taken away or diminished by others, because your strength lies within. Continue with this practice until you feel the release of your self-imposed confinement. This may take many days or months, yet developing the practice of acceptance will eventually become a way of being.

Now liberated, flow forward with loving intention and heart-centered actions and life will begin to grow brighter tomorrows. Always identify yourself with gratitude and acceptance. This is who you are at this moment, and you are developing this moment with positive intentions.

a thanksgiving message0cfffcee7fef19a867246635fb3bf5aaThe holiday season is a time of year when more people share their hearts with others in appreciation, care, compassion, and celebration. I want to share my deepest appreciation for you. Each time you use a DharmaTalks / Spiritual Simplicity reflection to help shift an attitude or reaction, or to connect with your heart’s intuitive guidance, you are contributing to the well-being of not only yourself but others who interact with you. It’s how the world can change – one loving heart at a time.

Show the colors of your true nature no matter how close the thorns may be, and one way to do that is through gratitude. We understand that gratitude is transformative! When coming from a place of gratitude in all aspects of life and in every moment, it changes the spiritual nature of life. The more you live with gratitude the more life opens up and expands so you have even more to be grateful for.

One who lives in desire has trouble being grateful they are unsatisfied, possibly due to not finding meaning in their existence. Meaning is the greatest hunger for mankind. Look toward your True Nature for meaning, so you may live in gratitude.

Let us not imagine something lacking, when we do we create an imaginary hole with needs. Move forward knowing the entire universe moves forward with you fulfilled. Let us find satisfaction and gratitude in this moment, this day, this life…

204267f5802addda46dedd74423b8092My thoughts often turn to gratitude for all the abundance we’ve been given. It is so important that we take the time to appreciate the small and large things in life and give thanks to those who fill our days with Love and Compassion. Thank you for being a part of my life and a community of peace loving friends and collaborators on the path to wholeness in our lives and communities.

I am reminded to look at what is really important in our lives. We are all a part of the oneness. Not an accumulation of stuff we own or of personas we developed to be popular. Living simply with less distraction is the direction of gratitude. We are always going to get what we need, not what we think we need. Eventually we begin to see we only need what we have in this moment. If we live in gratitude then we are satisfied and succeed in every moment of our path toward purpose.

We value deep friendship among kindred souls who aspire to the same destination. Today, I am grateful for my connection to unity and oneness. I find fellowship in the oneness like a bird flying in a flock of interconnection, where our consciousness guides us to turn this way and that for the greater good, without competition, instead being the bond of unity.

Let us honor our connection with Spirit with gratitude and Love. Our connection is like a self-perpetuating sphere of conciseness. When we act together we awaken the unlimited capability of divine expansion toward harmony and oneness. An awakened state of life is an experience of being present with clarity and gratitude that expresses itself as a flow of love. We feel this is how life should be lived, free of the negative ego and emotional drama. I am grateful for the opportunity to make empowering choices that point me toward being present and showing my true colors.
